As the CEO & Co-Founder, Matt propelled ChannelMix from a bootstrap startup to a six-time Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies in America honoree, culminating in its successful acquisition in 2024.

Before his entrepreneurial success with ChannelMix, Matt built an extensive career spanning sales and marketing, information technology, and business intelligence. He served as an executive, leading multi-million dollar strategies for notable companies such as AMC Theatres, American Century Investments, and Payless ShoeSource.

Having experienced it firsthand, Matt intimately understands the complexities business owners face—from maintaining competitiveness and fostering strong teams to managing numerous operational demands. He personally navigated the challenges of fully managing insurance needs, employee benefits, and personal retirement strategies, often feeling scattered and overwhelmed by reactive decisions rather than holistic planning.

 

Today, Matt resides in Lawrence, KS, with his wife of 34 years, sharing a passion for sports and family.
